Laying down a solid foundation for our kids is paramount for their health!
In this 90 minute workshop we will explore:
the gut brain connection
gut bugs and what they do for our health
emotions and how this affects our gut bugs & overall health
It’s been over a decade and I’ve been doing my best with the knowledge I have in raising resilient children when it comes to overall health with an emphasis on gut health and the connection to mental well-being.
I believe next to role modelling healthy behaviours there comes a time when children want to learn more about why we say “eat your veggies”. They are curious and the good old “because it’s healthy for you” just does not cut it anymore.
A child is naturally curious about their bodies and I believe they want to feel their best but our food industry is making it very difficult for them to thrive. With the abundance of processed food at their fingertips, it is no wonder we are seeing a rise in illnesses and negative health consequences based on the food they are consuming.
So what to do? Get our kiddos in the kitchen and understanding their gut health!!!!
This workshop will be both educational, fun & interative. Children will learn the imoortance in feeding their gut bugs with nourishing foods. There will be no shaming or negative talk around certain foods but the kiddos will go home knowing the difference between processed and whole foods so they can start making a positive impact in your home and for their health!
In this 90 minute workshop the kiddos will experience:
a nourishing snack that they will make on their own (with supervision)
a fun & loving learning environment focused on their body and gut bugs
connection to their body and emotions
a mindful eating session
